Rain has started again in Delhi today. The weather department had issued a yellow alert for rain for today as well. The sky is covered with light clouds. It is also raining lightly. People have got relief from the humid heat. Heavy rain was recorded in many areas while light to moderate rain was recorded in some areas.

The weather department had issued a yellow alert for rain two days ago. The weather department said that the sky will remain lightly cloudy. Due to this, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 35 and the minimum temperature at 27 degrees Celsius. The weather department had also issued a yellow alert for rain for Thursday, but it did not rain as per the forecast.
There was waterlogging at many places in the capital after the rain. Rampura railway underpass was completely submerged. In such a situation, it had to be closed. Many children were also seen bathing here, but there was no one to stop them. According to MCD, waterlogging occurred in Sector-12, East Patel Nagar, Rohini Sector-28, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Rana Ji Enclave Najafgarh, Burari, Okhla Village, Karol Bagh, Sarita Vihar, Fatehpur Beri, Pul Pehlad Pur, Jonti etc. Apart from this, trees fell in Rampura, Ranhola, Trinagar, Krishna Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Kalkaji and Dabdi. Action to drain out water was taken immediately at all places. Trees fallen on roads and streets were also removed.
